The review claims that "New parameters resolve the paradox of cooperation benefits by Németh and Takács". This remarkable result is due to the redefinition of the parameter that adjusts positive assortment based on new scaling parameters. The original PD has, however, a slightly complicated structure in the sense that it has four free parameters. The "resolution of the paradox" is thanks to the simple parameterization of Wang et al. of reducing to two parameters (cf. Hui and Xu, 2015 as a comment in the same issue), which we criticized in the original article.
